 The CTY

We have a great group of teens here and we would love for you to be a part of what we do. Our youth ministry strives to equip and assist our families in fostering spiritual growth and maturity. Our youth ministry is not about producing entertained teens, but about producing godly adults. The only way to do this is to work with parents and to work with the end in mind. This is why we build our activities around these “end game” goals.

We want our teens to become adults who have developed…

  1. A passion for God’s presence (through music, prayer, and bible study)
  2. Compassion for those in need (through missions and service opportunities)
  3. A commitment to holy living (through personal application and accountability)
  4.  4. Joy in the community of believers (through fellowship and worship)

Every week we have TWO ways for your teen to connect with us:

Sundays at 10:45am

We meet every Sunday after going to the 9:30 Worship service to pray for each other and get deeper into the Scriptures.

It’s nice to have a time of spiritual encouragement in the middle of the week. We get together on Wednesday nights to hang out, play a game, and learn more about the person of Jesus Christ.

What Else?

Aside from Wednesdays and Sundays, we also have Open House Fridays (OHF)—its one Friday night a month where we get together in the home of someone in our church family to play games and strengthen friendships. In the Spring, we have a retreat for both parents and teens, this summer we will be serving our community on a local mission trip, and in the fall we will go on a Teen retreat to spend time in worship and challenging Bible study. We also get to together at other times throughout the year to do things like watch movies, go bowling, or serve people in our community.
